The guitar, bass, and drums are in perfect harmony. Even if I felt like stopping my head from bouncing, it just wouldn’t be possible. I give into my urges and I bounce my head. It reminds me of bands like the POPPETS and the WHITE STRIPES, without sounding much like either of them. Even when it gets heavy and methodical, it remains upbeat. It’s pop. It’s punk. It’s not pop punk. And not all songs make your head bounce, some make it shake from side to side, like you’re some kind of a tough guy or smartypants. This will get a lot of play on my devices. (KK)

I didn't even know this existed, but it's pretty wonderful to hear their beginnings! It's so much like the others, and it's really quite different, tank-topped kids with strawberried knees and a buzz in their eyes, imperfection built like a board in 6th period wood shop in 7th grade, maybe showing a M.O.T.O influence that I didn't recognize on the others, skate rock and power pop poured into a drained pool with a Beach Boys show playing in the distance, hints of the Who and the Kinks showing up, maybe a bit of Eddie Cochran mixed with Cheap Trick, still sounding like a late-summer early morning skateboard ride. I don't know, I loved the others, but this might end up being my favorite. Get it! It's great! (MW)

ox-fanzine.de Bei der dritten LP handelt es sich eigentlich um das ursprüngliche Debüt, das 2018 lediglich als Kassette erschienen ist. Also im Grunde genommen nichts Neues, wobei das Tape kaum jemand gekannt haben dürfte. Die Zutaten sind allesamt schon vorhanden, nur geht man hier noch etwas unbedarfter zur Sache und hat noch nicht das Ziel so deutlich vor Augen. Herrlicher Bubblegum- Pop-Punk, der auf Surf- oder Rollbrett gleichermaßen gut aufgehoben ist. Wir feiern die gute Laune und basteln schon mal an den ersten Hits, die wir auf den vorhergehenden Nachfolgern perfektionieren werden. Die Eckpfeiler stehen auch hier schon mit den SPITS, HEX DISPENSERS, WIPERSGitarren und dem Pop-Händchen der NERVES um Jack Lee. Ein Sack voller kleiner Hits, die noch nicht ganz so auf den Punkt wie auf den darauffolgenden Scheiben sind, dafür sorgt hier die Luft nach oben für ein unbekümmertes Vergnügen. Soundtechnisch waren diese Aufnahmen jedenfalls schon zu 100% vinyltauglich.
